94.96%ile CAT 25, Bdes from NIFT, 9/9/8 and 18 months work ex in fashion
waitlisted at IIM Shillong ( non convertible) and IIM udaipur ( convertible)
I have converted both colleges and confused which one to go for -
Pros of IMI D
Alumni base- old b school
known to give 100% placements ( even if its as low as 8 LPA)
Cons of IMI D
420 batch size (bitsom has 240)
ROI is bad - 29 ish fees and 16 is average CTC - that too some say is true around 12-14.
Pros of BITSOM
Smaller batch size
Better companies and roles
ABG has a tendency to absorb the unplaced - my fashion bg wise that won't harm me.
Cons of BITSOM
Very New - none of the oldies in the corporate know about it
the admission counselor sounded shady - wasn't ready to talk about numbers.
I have talked to different ranges of people in and out of these school but they all have very different say - I want to know what would be the consensus here?
