On this day, May 7th, 2026, I’ve just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out, my appointment was at around 1 pm (central time) if I remember correctly.

I had a consultation before being brought back to a room, they used gas on me and that was genuinely lovely, felt like world peace, and then they came back and used a syringe on all 4 parts of my mouth in the gum area, they left the room and returned later asking if I was numb, I don’t remember what I said but they proceeded to begin.

The procedure was over quite quickly and they gave me stitches on the bottom. (I’m over simplifying but the procedure really wasn’t that bad)

However it didn’t take long after getting in the car for the pain to begin, I used an ice pack on both sides of my face when I got home and took one of the pills they sent me home with, I guess it’s a little better but not much.

I have gauze in my mouth that I’ve already changed twice as blood oozes in my mouth, though the bleeding seems to have lessened. I’m in quite a lot of pain but I suppose I’ll be fine, just have to deal with it.

Any tips or words of encouragement would be appreciated.
