Help deciding on Unify system.
I am seeking recommendations for an access point to replace my current Asus GT-AX6000. I am experiencing intermittent drops in 2.4 GHz connectivity and recent issues with IPv6 functionality when enabled.
The router is situated in the garage, approximately 2.2 meters high on a corner shelf, as indicated by the red cross on the provided layout. My mobile device, positioned adjacent to the television (blue cross), is connected to the 5 GHz band (160 MHz) and achieves speeds exceeding 800 Mbps with a -55 RSI, despite traversing two brick walls.
Upon utilizing the UniFi website's AP selection tool with my house layout, the projected range appears significantly limited, suggesting the potential need for three U7 Pro XGS units. Could you clarify if the actual range of these devices aligns with the UniFi website's depiction, or if it tends to be more extensive in practical applications?
Looking at UCG fiber, 1x U7 Pro XGS and Poe++ injector.
