Hi,

Just wanted to know if anyone has done this process before. I am currently active duty (4yrs ET2), I would like to transfer to reservist at the end of my contract in a couple of months. As a reservist, I would like to take a break and eventually switch rates and possibly come back to AD after A-school. How feasible is that process for those who have done it?

I don't want to do a TEMPSEP because I don't mind being a reservist and coming in for drills. Also, I am aware that I would have to drop down to a third class, and that I would have to wait for an A-school.
