Using so many active ingredients can destroy your skin but if you control the frequency of using properly the result is amazing. (For oily acne prone skin, mostly deal with stubborn closed comedones, congestion and moderate inflamed acne)

Last year I had been using adapalene for about 1 year straight and I could see significant results from it. By the way, my skin did not completely get rid of some stubborn PIH, the adapalene brand that I used was running out of stock and I also turned into 25 years old then I switched from adapalene into tretinoin and it was the best choice I had ever done in my life. My skin took 6-8 weeks to adapt with tretinoin 0.05% (with slightly purging again like rough bumpy skin and some white heads) and even though I had been using adapalene for a year I still started low and slow with tretinoin. At the same time, I continued using azelaic acid alternative with tretinoin while I skipped salicylic acid until I had been using tretinoin for 6-8 weeks then I introduced it 1 time per week or every 9-10 days only. In the morning, I paused using glutathione serum until I was used to tretinoin then I was back to use it again. That means when I switched to tretinoin I :

  1. Using azelaic acid alternative with it

  2. Skip salicylic acid and glutathione serum until week 6-8 then I was back to use them again.

My routine now is like this:

+Morning skincare routine

- blab matcha hydrating cleanser

- purito centella unscented toner

- abib gluathisome serum

-purito oat in gel cream

- house of hur weightless sun fluid

+Night routine divided into 4 main parts:

2-3 times of tretinoin per week, azelaic acid 2 times per week, recovery night 2-3 times per week and salicylic acid every 9-10 day when I see congestion builds up only.

  1. Tretinoin night

- bioderma micellar water (pink one)

- blab matcha hydrating cleanser

- purito centella unscented toner

- tretinoin 0.05

- purito nightly bamboo phanthenol cream

  1. Azelaic acid night

The same as tretinoin night just switch from tretinoin to Azelaic acid

  1. Salicylic acid night (if needed)

Every 1 week or 9-10 days I instead one of the Azelaic acid night with salicylic acid night and everything is the same just instead purito centella unscented toner into anua BHA 2% then purito nightly bamboo phanthenol cream.

  1. Recovery night

Still the same as tretinoin night but I instead actives (tretinoin, azelaic acid and salicylic acid) with iunik beta glucan serum then purito bamboo phanthenol cream.

Now the products I have been using:

  1. Bioderma micellar water (pink one)

  2. Blab matcha hydrating cleanser

  3. purito oat in gel cream (morning)

  4. purito nightly bamboo phanthenol cream (night)

  5. Iunik beta glucan serum

  6. Abib gluathisome serum

  7. Anua BHA 2% toner

  8. Skinoren azelaic 20%

  9. Tretinoin 0.05% (from Malaysia)

  10. House of hur wieghtless sun fluid

  11. purito centella unscented toner

My skincare routine is not stable 100% as the schedule but I listen to my skin and adjust everything like I need more recovery night or I don't need salicylic acid cuz there is congestion appares ect. The products I use seem to be a lot but actually some products I can use for 5-6 months in one tube like tretinoin or even 9-10 months (anua BHA 2% toner) then I can afford my budget properly.
