I received shiny Alolan starters from a friend several years ago. He said he had hatched them all himself, and I know he did. But he was known for genning Pokemon and I know you can gen eggs/force eggs to be shiny.

I wanted to use the Rowlet and the Litten for VGC. Is there any way for me to tell if he messed with them? I don’t want to get in trouble for something I have no clue about when they run system checks
