Neighbour’s cat has fleas
The neighbours cat, who we call Tony, often spends a lot of his time at our house. I’d say he only really goes back to his home to eat and sleep at night, or if it’s rainy.
My housemates have given him spot on treatment a few times, but the poor boy still has fleas. Not to the point where they’re jumping off him, but you see a lot of flea dirt in his fur.
We love having him here and know that he enjoys being here just the same, and I know we probably need to clean the house for any fleas there, but is there any point if the neighbour isn’t doing the same?
We can keep applying spot on and clean our house, but if the neighbour doesn’t do the same (he’s an old fellow) then won’t the cycle keep repeating?
Any advice would be appreciated!
