I tried reading some posts here but I didn't see any that gives me good insights into my situation.
My partner wants to visit me with their dog (Australian shepherd poodle, 30kg) from coastal Croatia to my place where I live in northern Germany.
The visit would last ahout a month or more.
-Neither of us have a car.
-We dont have a cage for the dog (which is like 400€ for him), so plane is difficult, plus the fact because there are no direct flights.
-We found a pet transport service, but that is more like a glorified taxi that quoted us at 1200€ per direction.
-I looked at car rentals, but they gave me the same quote about 1500€ because of leaving car in another country.
-My best bet is to look for shared pet van services which are cheaper but they only seem to connect Spain and UK.
Ideally I would like to get away with paying about 400-500 per direction.
Does anyone have a suggestion or experience with a shared pet transport service that connects EU?
