Hello!

a 16 GB Lexar flash disk I have been using as a media USB drive on my OSMC on Raspberry Pi was working a few weeks ago. I had not used it since then, but recently plugged it into my OSMC and nothing. It flashes once then stops. Normally it would keep flashing for being read of course.

Plugging into my W10 machine, it flashes a couple of times and then stops. It prompts that the drive must be formatted. I did NOT do so!

I think it was formatted last as NTFS.

I looked at the disk management in Windows, and it shows as 14.63 GB (it was pretty close to full), and shows: healthy (primary partition).

Is there a chance of recovery?

I have not tried chkdsk or any other programs.
