Recruiter told me that I can be a dual citizen and still get 1D7x1 job. Is this true?

I’m a dual citizen and recently booked 1D7X1A. My recruiter told me I do NOT have to relinquish my dual citizenship. He said unlike Intel, cyber isn’t one of the job that requires you to renounce it.

But from what I understand, my cyber job requires a TS clearance, and I’ve seen posts here from people saying they got disqualified from 1D7 jobs because they were dual citizens.

What’s confusing me more is that my friend who works as a security clearance investigator/interviewer told me that TS historically has not allowed dual citizenship at all and that I definitely have to renounce it.

So now I’m worried because I already booked the job and I leave for BMT soon. Does anyone know what the current policy actually is for dual citizens in 1D7 jobs? Has anyone here recently gone through this situation?

My citizenship is from an allied country and it takes about a month to relinquish it. If they ask me to do it then I’m thinking of doing it during tech school.

Does anyone have a list of given items at bmt?

What are given to us at BMT? So I know what not to bring. Any recent graduates?
I can’t find an updated list of issued items.

Can anyone break down what the different PT days at BMT are actually like?

Like for strength day, cardio day, CIT, run days, etc. what kind of exercises and workouts do you usually do?

Does the color of sports bras/underwear matter for females at BMT?

For female trainees, does the color of sports bras and underwear matter at BMT? Are there specific colors we’re supposed to bring?

So I completely misunderstood how the PT score works. I thought I just needed to hit the minimums to pass, but it seems like that’s not actually the case? I’ve only been training to meet the minimums.

Right now I can only do 14 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, and I run 2 miles in about 20 minutes. I’m leaving in a month and starting to get really worried.

How bad is this, and what should I focus on before I ship?

I’m in the 25-29yo range.

I’m using this site for reference btw https://www.afpc.af.mil/Portals/70/documents/FITNESS/PFRA%20Scoring%20Charts.pdf

Push-up: 14
sit-up: 25 (other website says 31!)
2-mile run: 25:40 (other website says 22:45)

I’m not sure which website have updated info but this is what I found. Different websites have different answers.

I have dual citizenship (with an ally country) and was born and raised in that country. I’m a military brat and have basically lived oversea my entire life. My mother is American (former U.S. military) and my father is not.
I don’t have that many foreign contact because I went to an American international school, but I’ve had history of voting in a foreign election (just once). I already wrote this on my sf86.
I’m scared that I won’t get a TS clearance, and I don’t want to risk renouncing my other citizenship if I don’t know if I’ll get a TS.
Any insight?
