Call it a prototype as I've already found some ways I'd improve on it, but I am very proud of my creation!
I think it looks really good for being made out of cardboard.
I know it's no Lochby but I've been using these little dollar tree books for years and wanted something specific for them.
I messed around for longer than I'd like to admit trying to add elastic for a pen holder but failed so any suggestions on that end are very welcome
Hell, all suggestions and tips are welcome.
Changes I've already decided for next time:
-reinforce all the edges with more cardstock and not just the corners
-wrap the piece that reinforces the spine with fabric before applying so it looks more finishes on the top and bottom
-more bookmarks and make them slightly longer
-the slightest bit more slack on the elastic
-maybe a pouch on the inner back cover for small slips of paper
