I spend way more time thinking before buying clothes now.

I notice that I almost never impulse buy fashion stuff anymore, especially if it is expensive.

A few years ago I would see something popular on the internet and just buy it because I liked the look of it. And now I will check the fabric, the reviews, the stitching, how it looks after a few wears, everything.

I think part of it is, because the prices keep going up but the quality does not always feel better anymore.

In the last couple years I have bought some expensive things that honestly did not feel all that different than cheaper stuff I already had.

Now I care so much more about the quality of it and whether I am going to actually wear something long term versus just buying it because it is the brand.

I wonder if anyone else is shopping this way now as well.

Feels like people can’t confidently tell what’s real anymore

A few years ago, fake sneakers were usually easy to spot.

Now it feels like people are checking out every little thing just to feel sure about a pair. Stitching, tags, box labels, shape, you name it.

Some of these replicas have been getting so close lately that even people who have been into sneakers for years still doubt themselves sometimes.

Honestly I think that’s why buying sneakers now online feels more stressful. People don’t trust their eyes anymore.

I wonder if anyone else has been feeling the same way lately.

Feels like people trust sneakers less now

Maybe it’s just me, but buying sneakers online seems so different now than it did a few years ago.

Now I am looking at every little thing. Tags, stitching, box labels, even old Reddit posts before you do anything.

Not because I am being picky or anything. Fake pairs just seem so hard to spot these days.

And to be honest I think the bigger fear now is being fooled. No one wants to pay real money for something and then start wondering if it is legit or not.

I think people are a lot more cautious now than they were before.

I wonder if anyone else has been feeling this way recently.

Maybe I am overthinking it but sneakers feel harder to trust now

A few years ago I never really thought about this when looking at sneakers online.

Now I am zooming in on every photo, looking at minute details, reading old Reddit posts, comparing tags, stitching, serial numbers, everything.

And honestly I think it is because fake pairs have gotten insanely believable these days.

Not even mentioning obvious bad fakes. Some of them look pretty close now.

The weird thing is I do not think people are questioning sellers anymore. I think people are less confident in their own ability to tell what’s real as well.

I am probably on the internet too much but I was wondering if anyone else has felt the same way lately.

What was the feature that completely sold you on the Flipper?

When I first became interested in the Flipper I honestly thought it was just a cool little gadget with a lot of hype behind it. After a while of learning about all the different things it can do I began to see why people get so obsessed with these devices.

For me the most interesting thing has been the creativity in the community. I always find something new every time I scroll through this sub that I did not even know was a thing.

What was the feature or moment where you were like okay this thing is actually awesome?
