Visitor Visa Timeline (London, UK)
Sharing timeline in case this helps anyone.
Background: 26M, work in Tech, Bachelor’s degree from US, F1 STEM OPT in US, transferred to London on Skilled Worker Visa. Pakistani Passport. Never been to Canada
Travel History: Valid B1/B2 Visa valid till 2030, have visited the US 3x in the last year. (So I believe I qualify for CAN+, but not sure)
Have also travelled to 3 Schengen countries over the last year across 2 Schengen visas. Back & forth to Pakistan over the last year twice as well.
Timeline: Application submitted: 21st April 2026
Biometrics Requested: 23rd April 2026
Passport Submission Requested: 14 May 2026 (so about 23 days or so)
Have not submitted passport just yet.
Purpose of travel: Work trip (Attending a Conference in Canada)
Documents provided as part of application:
- Letter from Employer
- Invitation Letter from Conference
- Bank Statements (savings account)
- Pay Stubs (last 6 months - I actually forgot to add these and then later added them to my application 2 days before receiving passport submission request)
- UK E-Visa / Share Code
