need advice about cats with diarrhea!!

hi everyone! needing some opinions or advice.

my boyfriend and i have 2 cats (almost 1 and 4). about 2-3 days ago we started to notice the younger one (we think) was having loose poop. no other symptoms other than not finishing his meals fully at random times. then today we noticed the older cat having loose poop. he’s eating fine. both are acting normal, drinking, playing, maybe a little sleepier (but i don’t know if that’s true or if i’ve just been paying more attention now because i’m worried).

i guess i’m just unsure what to do. they’re both fully indoor and my boyfriend and i haven’t been anywhere that we could’ve brought anything home. i don’t know if i should take them to an urgent care vet or just wait it out a bit longer to see if it’s just upset stomachs or they ate something weird. our only option for the vet is to go tomorrow or wait until tuesday due to the long weekend. i don’t want to go to the vet if it’s not needed due to financial reasons but will go if other people think it’s needed. just wanted to get some advice from someone with more vet knowledge than me!!
