I’ve just recently been accepted to do my masters for economics and have been having a look at the prelim readings. I want to do as much of them as I can but a couple are close to 1000 pages and I’m not the fastest reader in the world.

I just wanted to know how essential the preliminary readings are, whether it’s recommended to only read some of them or all of them.
