Normally, this would be a very sweet interaction. However, for her to reach such a char-defining realization and immediately drop it is so incredibly AAHHHHHH!!!
I am devastated, distraught, furious, heartbroken. I waited so long for a moment like this and it immediately got nuked. I’m not even mad at him for being a good friend to her. This contemplation just felt important and it was dropped very quickly. Please no major spoilers, but is this going anywhere or is this a dead end glimpse of what could be? Does the web version clarify this better?
