This is just a bit of a rant but I thought it was a weird interaction. I drove out abit to go check out what a local fish store had in store. I like to support these shops as much as possible.

Well while there I wanted to ask if they had this somewhat pricey Hanna Instrument tester in stock. The employee proceed to tell me no. That is reasonable for them not to have it I understand that 100%.

However he then in a disregarding tone told me to “just buy it on Amazon..”

Hearing that response threw me off. You would think they would like that people would source products through them.

Just wanted to see what you guys think of this.
