i used to write for this fandom like....a decade ago (i think the fandom itself has been around for close to two decades, i was just a late adopter). last year, i got back into writing stories again, i noticed the community had a resurgence of fics on ao3 since late last year (it's no heated rivalry ofc but it was nice to see daily work instead of the monthly drop that used to be) but i still just couldn't find what i wanted to read, so i ended up writing my own stuff again.
anyway, there was always this one reader who commented on practically all of the stories of this one ship i would always write for and now, i see the same person....still commenting on the same ship, a decade later across ALL my ship stories.
i've posted 5 stories since i started writing again and literally if no one has commented on that story yet, this one commenter was probably commenting on something else because give it at least a week and they're there again leaving thoughtful comments (not just the emoji spam or "this is great!") 😭
may we all have that one avid reader with a hyperfixation in our corner
