See photo to show my substrate after first harvest. These are Golden teachers from Zamnesia.
Is this thick white mushroom or mycelium?
Do I need to pick this out / harvest from the substrate for a second flush? - or should I leave it there and just add water / refrigerate?
Advice much appreciated.
This is my first Zamnesia Golden Teacher kit and it's been doing okay so far - all growing at pretty uneven rates. A couple of these look ready to harvest soon. I'd love to get some advice on best approach to harvest these and also encourage a good next flush.
Should I cut the stems or gently pick? (seen contrasting opinions here)
Should I harvest all when the first ones are ready? or pick them off as they get close to being mature / before getting too dark?
Any tips very welcome thx.
