Was an avid collector of different mangas - all of them being basically new, if not just lightly used from a read or two. Trying to find places to sell them for some $$ ?

First year music student who unfortunately failed theory ii 🥲 tried doing an analysis on this song from the new movie Obsession - was really curious about why this song sounds so haunting, especially with the motif in measure twelve.
I think context is significant; this song is played in the background of a montage of this seemingly happy couple, but the guy made a wish for this girl to “love him more than the entire world”, so this montage of happy moments between the two is played before everything becomes super toxic in their relationship.
If someone could analyze the piece + explain as to why that specific motif sounds so especially haunting , that would be great :)
