Hi everyone, I am planning my honeymoon for late September 2027 for 14 days 20k budget. I want to stay at a lodge for about 3 days and spend the rest in Mauritius. I would love to do Kenya or Tanzania as doing the hot air balloon in the morning is such a dream of mine and I don’t see company’s in SA that do it. I also love the landscape and would want to see the migration. Has anyone done this route and how difficult was it to travel between all these places. I know the classic would be sabi sands/ Kruger to Mauritius but I’m so stuck on wanting this hot air balloon ride!

Need some advice trying to plan my honeymoon for end of September 2027 starting with a safari(3 days) and ending in Mauritius the remaining time( around 7 nights) with a budget of 20k for two people. I would love to stay at the top hotels in Marituas so not sure how the lands us with the price of a lodge. Does anyone recommend a Kenya or Tanzania luxury lodge that would still fit our budget?

Hi, my fiance and I are trying to decide a destination for our September 2027 honeymoon. Our options are doing French Polynesian Moorea and Bora Bora or doing African safari paired with Mauritius. Our budget is around 20k. We have gone back and forth and right now landing that we might get a higher quality honeymoon doing bora bora due to how expensive even doing 3 nights safari is. Please let me know if you have any input!
