Last Lane Bryant clothing has left the building

Pre-Zep my wardrobe was all LB. It was…limiting. I’ve been in regular sizing for awhile but clung to my 12/14 LB underwear even as the fabric got spacious because it took awhile to tour some brands and hit on sales good enough for a restock. Well Soma had a 10 for $45 sale last week and I finally pulled the trigger. Thank you for your service LB, I’ll always appreciate that ability to source everything from Xxwide boots to extra long necklaces to accommodate my plus size body.

A tale of two pants

Weight loss has been slower than the early days, proportional to percentages of my current size not my starting size so the rapid, exciting clothing changes of new sizes every month have given way to gradual fit improvements and random “this is now too big” events. I have the same pant in two sizes M and L. The M was clingy and uncomfortable last month. Last week I wore the L and thought, they were comfortable. Thought I put the L on again this week (getting dressed in the dark problems) and from the mirror the fit was good, no clingy wrinkles but late in the day I thought, must be a bit bloated the waist feels a little tight. Guys it was the Medium pair, the fit was so good in the morning I thought they were the large. Hooray!
