Basically I’m trying to convert my Roadster trim sporty back to the dual gauge setup. I have found a couple local Speedo/tach combos for the roadster but just thrown off a bit by the top circled female connector that is kinda Y sited off the Speedo connector. Is this the HD diagnostic plug ? So nothing would even be connected to it? Or any information would be helpful. Don’t wanna spend almost $500 bucks on a Speedo/tach that won’t work. Idk why my roadster didn’t have both, probably the previous owner swapped it.

As the title states I’m looking for information on owners who have a 2007 to 2008 sportster 1200 and added a tachometer for RPMs. I have the speedometer that with clicking the button on the back it doesn’t give me the RPM gauge like I’ve had on my 2014 sportster 48. Does anyone have information whether or not I can plug-in play a tachometer from a previous year? Any information would be greatly appreciated and also to know I am using tea bars, so any mounting options would also be appreciated as well.
