London - Night 1

So I attended the show last night and I want to start off by saying that the girls were great! Their energy was fantastic and they all looked like they were having fun but the crowd however...

It was like two different shows, for the first half the crowd was flat? Not sure how to explain, it was a different vibe to Ready to Be and was a little surprising. Everyone was on their feet during Ready To Be and the energy was electrifying but last night, despite cheers/screams noone I could see were moving/dancing or having fun.

Even the Twice members commented on it, Sana called out sections to get up on their feet and then called them out again when the ignored her and looked the otherway. I felt a little bad for the members.

So instead they started mentioning/pointing to people in the crowd who they had noticed were vibing and enjoying themselves during the first segment.

By the second half, it was like being in one big party. Everyone was trying to sing along, most people were dancing or bouncing a little and it was great, the members then mentioned how the crowd seemed different and that seemed to give them more energy.

It's worth noting that they had a load of big cameras filming the crowd last night so maybe people were shy, not sure what they were filming for either, maybe a tour film? Eitherway, they picked the London crowd for a reason so let's live up to expectation!

Tonight is their final night (except the encore) so I intend to have the most fun, start to finish and end this tour with a bang!

Also, with the tube strikes, travel safe everyone 🙏

Edit: I just want to add that I'm not saying everyone needs to stand and I fully understand that everyone has different abilities/disabilities or even personal preferences. I didn't stand last night because the lady behind me was very pregnant and couldn't stand so I danced, sang and bounced slightly in my seat, I had no issue with that and neither did she.

My initial point was that based on my previous experience at a Twice concert my expectations were high in terms of crowd atmosphere and energy. Last night wasn't that, it was different. Maybe it was the set list, maybe people were tired but it took half the show for the crowd to ramp up so when Twice announced it was the final song it felt like the show was being cut short.

I never intending to offend anyone, it was more an observation so to those private messaging me, I do apologise and I'm happy you enjoyed yourself last night in your own ways.
