is omni gemini or google AI plus package worth it?

i currently a free user of chatGPT but for context, im only using gpt to have fun theorizing, studying learning random trivias, learning languages, and simple non professional things. im also a windows user but i do have an iphone for my mobile so im currently paying for both icloud and google drive storage (my phone storage is also connected to google so all media saved to my phone are saved to my google storage aswell (its redundant, i know). im considering upgrading my package to google AI plus (the one with more ai usage limit and 200GB space).

with the upgrade i can afford to cut down on my icloud subscription so the cost justifies itself, my only concern is. is paid or omni gemini that much better than free gemini or free GPT? since im a student in digital design im also starting to use AI a lot more in researching and organizing concepts and programming advice. im hoping users that has experience with the paid version of gemini can give me their insights on how much difference it makes

im a big user of ai in terms of how much info i gather, process, and gain with using ai chatbots (like chatgpt, gemini, etc) but i never rely on ai for credibility of information and probably never will since i would like to confirm information myself. i currently use chatgpt around 95% of the time since i like how "interactive" it is compared to gemini (imo). i also like how i can set it to remember certain facts or rules that i set myself that is linked to the specific account. i mostly use gpt for inspiration or as a search engine when i just cant find a specific name or term for what im describing. i also use gpt for learning languages, basic translation, and some random facts about a game im playing or about music in general.

now the question is, is getting the premium version of gpt worth it? my biggest issue with free gpt is the limitation of how much prompt i can make for a day and how limited the storage size for each chat, but i also like how i can make a "project" to categorize each chat. i dont use gpt for work that much so credibility of info or image generation is not "too important". and if gpt is not worth it what would be the alternatives? also for me 20$/month is astoundingly expensive for something that's not something i rely on everyday for everything
