I laugh about this because the main people who keep saying the challenge won’t end are the people who made the show their career and that’s where they make their money.
at this day and age, I respect the people who do the challenge for fun that have actual jobs (don’t at me with the social media as a job, I’m talking about actual jobs people worked for like back in the day)
as a long time challenge fan, casting ruined the show by bringing in shows I never heard of, and themes no one wanted. they also dont give anyone a chance to be the new face of the show. no one wants to watch out of shape 40-50 yr olds trying to run 2 miles
they need to bring back the drama and fun of the old days. if I wanted to watch “sports and athletic people”, I’d watch actual sports like baseball.

does anyone think they are actually going to renew the show? everyone said their contract expires in May and there’s less than a week left
part of me thinks that if it’s not canceled (which I think it will be 🤞) MTV/paramount is going to let the contracts expire than renegotiate the cast at a much lower pay than what they make now
