New Bishop!
Hello, all.
A few weeks ago I travelled to Belleville, Illinois to photograph the episcopal ordination of a friend of mine, who is a Benedictine Monk. I have known him for nearly two decades and am so happy that he was chosen to lead the diocese he was brought up in.

Bishop Mullen is a wonderful man who I have been blessed to have as a friend for many years. He has been a mentor to me through many ups and downs, has always encouraged me to be the person God calls me to be, and has never hesitated to make time for my shenanigans. He is a man of deep humor and generosity - his episcopal motto is The Lord is a Cheerful Giver which could not be more appropriate for him! He is also a very talented and learned thologian, liturgist, homilist, and musician. The Church made a great decision by this appointment to the Diocese of Belleville!
