Taking the leap and applying to medical school. Goal is to get in for 2028

I am a current practicing certified anesthesiologist assistant. 25 currently, will be 26 soon, and hopefully 27 when I’m accepted into medical school. I know I sound crazy right now. I have a good work life balance, make great money, but I just don’t quite feel satisfied. There’s a part of me that really wants to be an MD/DO and that itch is hard to ignore.

My stats:

sGPA: 3.7 cPA: 3.7 MCAT: 508 (will have to retake since it’s from 2021 smh)

Went to case western for CAA school, gpa was a little on the lower end at 3.4.

Roughly 2600 hours of clinical anesthesia training. Currently work as a CAA. Can get LORs from anesthesiologists, previous instructors, and neurosurgeons I work with so that isn’t an issue. They can all attest to my clinical skills, knowledge, and decision making.

Have some undergrad research. Some other ECs such as ER volunteering. Work experience as a medical lab scientist which was my undergrad major.

Assuming I get a 512 ish on the MCAT what are my chances to get into any of the Michigan medical schools? My goal is either Oakland or Wayne state. Ideally the 3 year Wayne state accelerated program for is my top choice which anesthesiology as the specialty choice.
