Embarrassing Basement Anxiety
We haven't had central air for a few years, house built in 1995. Original ac unit went out a few years ago and we've just been getting by with window units. So, now we've decided this year to either have it fixed or replaced, whichever the case may be. We live in a two story, full basement, 1700 sq ft house, so I'm not sure how much a new one will even be.
I have terrible anxiety. It plagues me, and frustrates me, and has led me here. We're having a company come over for a quote tomorrow, and I have anxiety that may basement is embarrassing. The a/c unit is outside that window in the back right of the basement. I also don't know what else they'll need access to, and I'm freaking out vacuuming and dusting and washing walls, it's been a miserable day. So. Here I am... just going to ask...
is my basement embarrassing
any ballpark ideas for price ranges
will they need access to the entire house when giving a quote and/or installing a new one?
I really appreciate anybody that reads this and responds - means a lot.
