I am stuck on this decision and can't choose. I will be grateful for your experience!

Option 1: Big window above the counter, approximately as pictured. Leaves room for me to change my mind and make the kitchen U shaped.

Option 2: Glass door leading directly to the terrace, the same width as is the aisle. (Don't have a picture, the IKEA planner is not working too well for me at the moment).

There's a huge sliding glass door right next to the dining table, on the left side. The view is nice, but not spectacular.

Note: This is a very basic picture from IKEA planner, details will be different, it's just the easiest tool I have at hand at the moment.

I live nowhere near Canada and I have no idea how to make a perfect tuna melt. What bread do I use? Please share your recipe.

Pictures encouraged, so I know what to strive for!

EDIT After some thought, I am also interested in why did Ilya choose tuna melts - they are definitely not Russian food. What do you think?
