What does this mean? Have you guys seen this?
Hey guys, I literally just shot out of bed from this dream and had to search this sub because I’m wondering if anyone else has dreams like this.
I keep having this recurring dream every few months. It always starts with me driving on what looks like a normal highway, but then I realize I’m at the very top of this massive stack of highways and overpasses. When I look down, there are endless bridges and looping roads underneath me, like dozens of levels, and it’s nighttime and really foggy.
Then the road suddenly becomes insanely narrow, almost too narrow for my car to even fit. It turns into this winding path with sharp lefts, rights, loops, and downhill curves, and I’m still hundreds of feet in the air. It’s honestly terrifying. The second picture is the closest thing I’ve found to what it looks like because of how ridiculously skinny the road gets.
Every single time, I end up driving off the edge, and right as the car starts falling, I get that horrible dropping feeling in my stomach and literally jolt awake. This isn’t the first time either. I have this exact type of dream once every few months, and it always freaks me out. I’ve always been uncomfortable with really high bridges and elevated highways in real life too, so maybe it’s related.
Has anyone else had dreams like this, or know what they could mean? It’s been eating at me for agesssss, please let me know.
