please advice me about my personal statement for a cultural ambassador schoolarship.
I’m having trouble with the first paragraph. I don’t know if it’s too much Philosophical or not. What Chinese teachers could think? 🫠 I have two options, some please could tell me which one is better ?
1.- "I would like to be a tourist all my life"; it is the phrase that best expresses the path and purpose that I have chosen for my life.
For me, being a tourist means learning and educating yourself through the encounter with the world. It means respecting and deeply acknowledging the value of the traditions of each culture.
2.- I believe that traveling and learning from other cultures is one of the most profound forms of education. For me, approaching the world with curiosity, respect and cultural sensitivity means recognizing the value of each tradition and constantly learning from people and their customs.
