I’m moving to Florida as an international student from Europe for the next four years in the fall, what should I expect? Or what should I prepare in terms of clothing and is everyone friendly ? Do I need to Americanize my accent so people understand me.
this is probably a bit of a long shot, but my f1 visa recently got approved and maybe it’s just the sunny weather that’s making me have doubts.
Everything is basically in place for me to go over in July to America but I can’t help but feel upset at missing Ireland, but I think it would be good opportunity for me in terms of job opportunities and growth. I’m 19 and took a gap year, managed to secure a decent grant that allows me to study with “Irish fees”.
It’s in Florida, for the next four years it’ll be my home.
I don’t really have any friends in Ireland and I’m a bit of a cluchie in a sense.

I have a question in regards to the embassy in Dublin;
My appointment is this Wednesday for an F1 visa to the USA,
However, it says online the embassy is opened at 8:30am, and my appointment is at 07:45am? And the security clearance? Can I bring a folder- labeled of all my documents or will it be taken off by security? What questions will they likely ask me? What should I have prepared other than the obvious documents?
