Not really clear on what path to pursue after this . Seeking advice from the experienced and experts in this field
I am a master’s in Biotechnology student from University College Cork and I recently started my 6 months work placement at the a reputed Food innovation research hub in a company that specialises in Research and development of infant formula, adult supplements and pet nutrition: a very holistic approach towards all paradigms.
I’m primarily working in cell culture , also learning analytical techniques , simulating in vivo conditions and will be doing lots of qPCR, ELISA and a bit of HPLC too . I will also be analyzing samples from animal studies.
How can I extrapolate this role to land a reputed role in the Pharma giants like Eli Lilly and J&J? I’ve always dreamed of working in Eli Lilly . There were very very few R&D roles amidst all the QA And QC roles in our placement and I feel lucky to have got this , but I don’t really know where to apply next . Any kind of advice on the same is truly appreciated🙌🏼
