Car owners: do you apply car wax etc. to protect car from the sun and especially the fine dust?
I find that just rinsing my car doesn't leave it clean, the fine dust lingers and you have to wipe it off. I don't think it was like this abroad, the mud would be washed off.
I'm wondering if wax etc would make washing easier and also protect from the sun, though not sure how relevant that is with modern metallic paint.
Any recommendations?
