Question about all the seasons. Watching: S25: free agents.
Hey! Okay so my husband and I are on a rewatch and we just got to free agents. About a few episodes in. And we are frustrated that it’s technically a “singles game”. We were wondering if there are any seasons where they play on their own, for every single challenge?
in the beginning, TJ even said “we’ve gathered all of you here because you might have won a challenge, but you were the worst person on the best team, or you lost a challenge because you were the best person on the worst team, or you were held back by someone who was weaker than you, or you won because you were with someone who was stronger than you. So this is your chance to play your own game and keep your fate in your own hands.” (Ofc I paraphrased, we’re on ep8 and I have adhd lol) And we were stoked, like to see who is really the BEST, right? And yet they’re still having challenges where you have to have partners or a team and the partner/team could hold you back and because the partner held you back you’re both in the draw, the elimination challenge and that sucks. Cuz even the best player on the worst team has to go to the draw.
I know they sometimes need partners for the daily challenges they come up with but like the challenge where they were “sausages” and had to roll around, didn’t have to be a team challenge. It could have been a singles challenge?? Right? Or am I wrong? They still had the top people who won and bottom people who lost but even those that got first place on the losing team, still lost and went to the draw. They’ve come up with over 40 seasons worth of challenges, couldn’t they find 10 (or however many) of those options that don’t need partnerships to do. Like swimming or running or puzzles or eating. Or all three. They could do so many variations with even just those 4 activities. 🤷♀️
Maybe I’m misunderstanding or there’s more to it than I think (very very possibleh) but if they need people for the draw? Last 5 guys and last 5 girls to finish (or slowest) the daily challenge, goes to the draw and the one guy and one girl winner choose the main person from the losing 5 for elimination.
I guess it’s just frustrating when someone who could have won the daily challenge, did not win because their partner was slower or worse than they were. How is that actually considered free agents??
Anyone else get understand where our thoughts are?? lol. They’re still doing seasons, I hope they make at least 1 of 42+ as an actual real FREE Agents season. lol
