Razer Blackshark v2x Splitter not working
Hey everyone,
I’m having a really frustrating issue with my Razer BlackShark V2 X and I seriously don’t know what to do anymore.
Whenever I’m on Discord, people can hear:
their own voices echoing back
my YouTube videos
Spotify/music
basically all desktop audio through my mic
Even if the volume is low, the mic somehow picks up my PC audio. It sounds like some kind of crosstalk/audio bleeding issue.
After researching online, I found that many people say the problem is related to:
the splitter cable
7.1 surround software
Realtek settings
or Windows audio configuration
I mostly use Discord, so this is becoming a huge problem for me. My friends complain constantly because everything I play gets transmitted through my mic.
Things I already tried:
lowering mic volume
Discord echo/noise settings
reinstalling drivers
changing ports
checking “Listen to this device” is OFF
testing different Discord settings
I suspect the splitter might be faulty because I read multiple posts where replacing/removing the splitter fixed the issue.
My setup:
Razer BlackShark V2X
Windows PC
Using the included audio/mic splitter
Mostly Discord usage
Has anyone here fixed this permanently? Should I:
buy a better splitter?
get a USB sound card/DAC?
uninstall Razer 7.1 software?
change Realtek settings?
I’d really appreciate any help because this issue is driving me crazy.
