This is the Daniel Defense M4 PDW GBBR I won from 6mm Badger. I love the build, but the stock was too short/small for me, so I swapped it out with a strike industries buffer tube, and a DD Stock, and got the matching fore grip. Fits me much better now. I plans for a paintjob, and have a different similar optic coming for it.
This was the first AEG I ever opened, and upgraded. It was the first one in about 100 builds now. It set off on this Airsoft adventure over the past 8 years now. Here is what I did to it.
Internally upgraded:
Action army tight bore 6.01 steel flat hopped barrel, (370mm +95mm over stock),
Prometheus shim set,
Maxx stainless steel ported cylinder,
Maxx double O-ring cylinder head,
Maxx double O-ring piston head,
Matrix CNC Machined Aluminum Rotary Hop-Up Unit,
with Matrix Silica 70 degree bucking.
On the exterior:
an Acetech tracer unit mock suppressor,
a Matrix 1x30 red dot on cantilevered mount,
an EMG adjustable stock,
and a UTG angled foregrip.
this one is meant for smaller statured/younger players. All the same M4 controls, but in a smaller easier to manage package. If you want more info on it, I have a full build video.
