I’m currently a ABH2 who is stationed on recruiting duty, and I’m just trying to get some insight on how BBA would work especially with a billet like Recruiting. My chain told me since I’m recruiting I can get picked for orders when the window opens in August but I will not PCS until my PRD which is in 2028 December since recruiting duty is a special duty. In contrast to how I know BBA works you’ll get selected orders to PCS before your PRD (a year out or so) and put on the rank before you get to your prospective command. Just trying to get some possible insight from someone who isn’t a CRF. Thanks ahead of time !
