I googled something and found something completely unrelated to it, but that thing has a direct real life reference to me.

First off, I googled "staring out across the ocean, I can see a green light in the distance."

This is a quote from The Great Gatsby. I was watching a Smosh video and one of their old twitter posts came up from 2011 with this quote on it.

Some side information, a friend of mine had told me months ago that they loved a song and that I should give it a listen. I've put it off for quite a while, probably 6 months or so. Well, the result of googling that Gatsby quote was just a bunch of links to that song, Michael Jackson - Human Nature. I can't tell if this was the universe telling me to listen to this song or what, but it freaked me out a little. So like any sane person, I finally listened to the song.

Some more side information, no I haven't said that song name out loud since they told me about it. I've thought about it and keep remembering that I should listen to it but not wanting to listen to it knowing that I probably won't like it. So it's not some "google is listening" thing.

tldr: Google took me from Gatsby to Michael Jackson.

Is anyone else super over the GTA 6 hype?

I realized months ago that wanting to play it hasn't done anything for me besides irritation. Even when it does come out, only console players are going to get access to it, so if it even shows up in my feed, I think I'll just be pissed off. I want to play the game, but I'm absolutely done wanting it sooner than later. It get delayed another 10 years and I think I wouldn't care at this point.
