Hi everyone,

I’ll be spending the next two months in Japan, mostly based in Tokyo.

I work in Offensive Security, and I was wondering whether there are any local hacker communities, meetups, or regular gatherings in Tokyo. In many cities across the US and Europe, there are places where people involved in cybersecurity casually meet up, work on CTFs together, discuss research, share projects, or just hang out with like-minded people.

I tried searching on Google, but I couldn’t find much information.

Are there any communities, Discord groups, bars, hackerspaces, universities, meetup groups, or recurring events where people in the Japanese infosec scene get together? I’d be happy to meet both locals and other people passing through Tokyo.
