Complication with building foundation (rhyme was unintentional)
Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to Sons of the Forest and currently building my first base on a fairly uneven cliff. To deal with the terrain, I'm trying to build a log foundation first.
However, I'm running into a couple of issues:
Sometimes I just can't connect certain logs, even though it looks like they should fit.
In some places, I can't continue extending a row of logs in a certain direction. The game simply won't let me place the next log, even though there doesn't seem to be anything blocking it.
Am I missing some building mechanic or is this a common issue when building on uneven terrain?
Also, is there a way to stack multiple horizontal logs on top of each other to make a taller foundation? A single log height isn't enough for some parts of the cliff, and I'd like to keep the whole foundation level.
