Want to switch as an 1yoe AI engineer

I'm kinda stuck and want to know what things i should learn or what should i know that is usually asked to a experienced AI engineer. There are soo many topics topics to cover like going for system design, getting better at DSA, more ai stuff.

I have only 1yoe soo there are soo many things i don't know yet and thus would appreciate if someone points out necessary things i should focus on(more better if u could be specifc),l.

Context: as of now i have only worked with simple ai projects, no scaled projects using ai, not evn worked with cloud ( i have general knowledge about em tho) . U prolly know by now that i know sht so pls help me out

Thanks for anyone taking time to read this.

Is 5lpa is very low for a jr AI engineer role.

Context: I'm a fresher recently completed my graduation last month DTU, delhi. For reasons and luck factor i wasn't able to get oncampus placement.

I applied to this one company in noida where the hr said we can negotiate the salary around 6lpa ( I'm kinda desperate at this point so i said lets just have experience in my boat for now) . Now after the offer she's providing is very low balled like 5 lpa ctc amd doesn't want to negotiate on face to face or even via meet.

I'm stuck and idk what should i do at this point. Should i go for it for experience or reject the offer cause that just slavery at this point.

Short: Got lowballed offer for AI engineer role aroung 5lpa( 40k in hand) , idk what to do .

T.S i have attachd my resume too, soo do i lack skills and need to hold myself back?im from Tier 1 college ( well i hope it is still tier 1 lol)

Update: hr increased it to 5.2 lpa, still peanut.
