Which one?
Hey y'all!
I know your all probably tired of the 'which board, never skated before' vague questions, let me change it up a bit for you.
I'm an experienced long boarder, been on boards off and on since my childhood - I'm in my late 30's now. I've had trick boards, 'pro' boards, long boards, even a few penny and nickel boards. Never really picked up tricks, but I'd go miles on my long board, both for commute and for fun. I'm also used to electric scooters, I've used one for the last 2 or 3 years as my daily a to b. Still have one in fact, however my living situation as changed a bit. Went from renting a room in a single story house in SoCal, to an 3rd story apartment with my partner in Fargo, Nd.
My dear scooter is too damned heavy to carry up and down from the 3rd story, and this building doesn't have an elevator. So, I've been looking for something to get around town when we're not buried under feet of snow and ice, that I can still carry up and down the stairs without needing to stop every landing or my ankles being assaulted.
I also have a mid-sized dog, so being able to cruise around with him would be nice.
To answer some of the other questions I've seen come up in other post; I'm small, 120lb and 5'3. I've used boards as long as 32inches, however its been a few years since I've been on anything other then my scooter. Fargo is...Fargo, so mostly sidewalks and pavement of various qualities. All terrain would be nice, but its not at all needed. I would like to stay under 650, but I can go up to 800 if its something that make sense, but for my first board I'd rather not drop a ton.
Add: I can get the Meepo brand on Amazon, but I noticed there seems to be a dislike to Meepo here?
