Texas Rangers Jerseys Review and Question top_500_sports
Hello! Just got two size XL Texas Ranger jerseys from top_500_sports. One is the city connect 2.0 for #36 Langford, and the other is a grey road jersey for #32 Carter.
Overall, the quality is... mixed. I've never ordered from DH Gate before, let alone for jerseys, but I feel like parts of these don't hit the mark and I don't know if I should request a replacement or let it be. They are knockoff jerseys at the end of the day and are a steal compared to their normal $155 and $200 price tags, and are decent enough to pass muster from a distance. I've also included pics of the real jerseys to compare.
The materials for both jerseys are good, and the fit is great for an XL.
The grey jersey had some stitching issues, but overall my main complaints for that one is that the tri-color pattern on the edge of the sleeve is just wrong (too thin, wrong material), the font for the name is too thin, and the TEXAS lettering on the front is odd and feels a bit small. Last, the batterman logo is way too high up on the neck.
The red jersey has a lot more issues imo. The TEJAS on the front is the right size and even the right pattern on the inside of the letters, but the stitching & thickness looks nothing like the actual jerseys. The piping is off. One side is messed up and doesn't match. The sleeves cut off the T pattern pretty badly, and the paper picado looks incorrect but passable. On the back, the name is the wrong font, is too low, and is the wrong size. The piping on the back of the neck is off-centered as well, and the batterman logo is also off-center and crooked.
So, should I ask for a replacement or refund? Or am I being too picky and just be happy I got two decent enough looking jerseys? If nothing else, I hope this gives y'all an idea of this order's quality from this store.
