[Hiring] $100+ USD | Manga-style portrait of me; Vagabond/Berserk/Vinland Saga aesthetic
Looking for an artist comfortable working in a heavy linework, black and white manga style similar to Vagabond, Berserk and Vinland Saga. Not looking for the typical soft anime commission style; I want something with weight and atmosphere.
What I need: A portrait of myself, framed with a circular crop in mind; headshot to upper chest. I've provided photo references including manga panels for style, a photo of myself for likeness, and additional photos for the facial expression I'm going for. The phone visible in the likeness reference should be omitted from the final piece. Happy to pay more if the expanded framing warrants it.
Style: Black and white, manga-influenced, heavy linework. References: Vagabond, Berserk, Vinland Saga manga panels. Strong, understated energy; not dramatic or action-posed, just presence.
Usage: Profile picture (branding) and YouTube channel watermark. Commercial rights required.
Rights: Happy with standard portfolio inclusion. Please do not use outside of portfolio or resell my likeness.
Budget: $100+ USD
Timeline: An estimated delivery time must be agreed upon before work begins. I'm flexible and happy to grant extensions, but I do need a proposed timeline upfront.
