I've had this American Standard since 1999, but haven't adjusted the truss for a while; I figured because I only use 9's there's not a ton of tension, but I was just looking, and does this look okay? I was googling and it looks like usually there's some kind of metal fitting for the tool to fit inside

I hopefully won't need to adjust the neck for a while but was curious:
- Is there a missing piece here?
- Is it fixable? how, if so?
