Tent with standing room for 6’3” and big vestibule?
I’m trying to find a replacement tent for a Field and Stream Wilderness Lodge 6. For car camping, but including car camping for extended periods of time and including in crappy weather.
We’re replacing a tent is over 10 years old and the fly split along a seam- I’m guessing that repairing it right now would just lead to more materials fatigue related problems in the near future).
We would really like a big vestibule (standing height and can accommodate at least two chairs), floor space of about 10’x10’, a ceiling height of 6’4” that extends beyond one spot in the exact middle. We also want a tent that’s really good in storms (wind and rain).
Anyone have suggestions?
Currently considering the Kelty Rumpus 6, the North Face Winona 6 or 8, and maybe the No Bake tent but the price sooo high that it’s probably not possible.
Any suggestions?
