Skilled work her dependant application for my son
Hi everyone, I need an insight. So I have been in the UK on a skilled worker visa since January 2024- switched my visa from post study. My partner and my child have been with since then on this visa.
And now I am trying to bring in my other child to join us on my current visa but over the past few weeks, I have had issues on the portal accepting my sponsor license number.
I have checked the UK company portal and my sponsor’s license is still valid but not sure why the form was not accepting the number. I have explored all characters on it but always hit a wall.
I want to add here that my salary is below £30k as I have been following the UK immigration changes since I got my visa approved before April of 2024. Also my soc code is not care, it’s IT
Now, I Heard that you can use the global talent portal when you see the drop down and then towards the end, I can now include the reason why I had to use this route, then include all the details including the sponsor’s name and numbers and other details
Has anyone tried making this type of application this way? I am very aware of all the changes coming and hoping someone has made an application recently in my similar position.
Any lawyer in the house or anyone has experienced this technical hitch that can advise? I am desperate for answers pls
