Working Title: "Clean Below"

A young man is wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to community service instead of prison. His punishment takes an unusual form: he is sent to an abandoned industrial complex with a simple task—clean it.

He is instructed by a silent supervisor that each floor must be fully cleaned before he is allowed to descend further into the building.

At first, the complex seems like a standard abandoned structure. Dust, rubble, and decay cover everything. But as he progresses, something changes. The debris begins to reveal fragments of his past—objects from his childhood, distorted memories, and subtle links to the crime he was accused of committing.

Each level becomes more unstable and surreal, reflecting parts of his psyche he has buried. The environment shifts between reality and nightmare, as if the building itself is reacting to his mind.

Strange presences begin to appear—manifestations of guilt, fear, and injustice. They are not random monsters, but symbolic echoes of his emotional state and unresolved trauma.

As he descends deeper, he starts to question whether the complex is truly a place of punishment, or something far more personal. Every cleaned room feels like another memory stripped bare, forcing him closer to the truth he has been running from.

At the lowest level, he finally uncovers the real purpose of the facility—and the reason he was chosen to enter it in the first place.

A psychological horror story about trauma, perception, and the fragile boundary between innocence and guilt.
